上月廿八日信早到。前所寄学生译文一篇，已去问过，据云已经排好，俟看机会编入，那么，就算是大半要用，不能寄还的了。
《译文》是我寄的，到期当停止。
前为素园题墓碣数十字，其碣想未立。那碣文，不知兄处有否？倘有，希录寄，因拟编入杂文集中。不刻之石而印之纸，或差胜于冥漠欤？
平津又必有一番新气象。我如常，但速老耳，有几种译作不能不做，亦一苦事。
