四日信收到。《博古牌子》留下照相一份，甚好。但我对于上海情形殊生疏，容易上当，所以上午已托书店寄上，请先生付店一照，较妥。大约将来制版，当与底片之大小无关，只要记下原书尺寸，可以照样放大的。
王君生病，不惟可怜，且亦可惜，好像老实人是容易发疯的。
教书固无聊，卖文亦无聊，上海文人，千奇百怪，批评者谓我刻毒，而许多事实，竟出于我的恶意的推测之外，岂不可叹。近来稍忙，生病了，但三四日就会好的。
