顷接靖华信，已同意于我与先生所定之印他译作办法。并补寄译稿四篇（共不到一万字），希望加入。稿系涅维洛夫的三篇，左琴科的一篇，《烟袋》内原有他们之作，只要挨次加入便好。但不知已否付排，尚来得及否？希即见示，以便办理。
他函中要我做一点小引，如出版者不反对，我是只得做一点的，此一层亦希示及；但倘做起来，也当在全书排成之后了。
