早已收到寄给我的版画集，但为了病与忙，未能即复，歉甚。其中的作品，我以为《收获》，《农村一角》，《归》，《夕阳》，这四幅，是好的。人物失败的多，但《饥饿》，《运石》二种，却比较的好。人物不及风景，是近来一切青年艺术学徒的普遍情状，还有一层，是刻动的往往不及静的，先生亦复如此。所以虽是以“奔波”为题目，而人物还是不见奔忙之状。但在学习的途中，这些是并不要紧的，只要不放手，我知道一定进步起来。
