十日因得母病电，次日匆匆便回，昨得广平函，知承见访，而不得晤谈，至为怅怅。家母实只胃病，年老力衰，病发便卧，延医服药后，已就痊可，弟亦拟于月底回沪去矣。北新以文字获大咎，颇多损失，但日来似大有转圜之望，本月版税，亦仍送来，可见其必不关门也，知念特闻。此间尚暖，日间出门，可无需着外套，曾见幼渔，曾询兄之近况，亦见兼士，皆较前稍苍老矣，仲云亦见过，则在作教员也。专此布达，即颂
