来函收到。小说稿已转寄。
小说卖去三十六本，中秋结算，款已取来，今汇上，希签名盖印，往分馆一取。倘问汇款人，与信面上者相同，但大约未必问。
年来因体弱多病，忙于打杂，早想休息一下，不料今年仍不能，但仍想于明年休息，先来逐渐减少事情，所以《文史》等刊物，实在不能投稿了。
