蒙赐函并惠木刻画集，感谢之至。
倘许有所妄评，则愚意以为《挤兑》与《起卸工人》为最好。但亦有缺点：前者不能确然显出银行，后者的墙根之草与天上之云，皆与全幅不称。最失败的可要算《淞江公园》池中的波纹了。
中国提倡木刻无几时，又没有参考品可看，真是令学习者为难，近与文学社商量，希其每期印现代木刻六幅，但尚未得答复也。
