自从在协和礼堂恭聆 大论之后，遂未再见，颇疑已上秘魔厓，但或者尚在北京忙碌罢，我也想不定。
《边雪鸿泥记》一去未有消息，明知 先生事忙，但尚希为一催促，意在速售，得钱用之而已。
友人李庸倩君为彼书出主，亦久慕 先生伟烈，并渴欲一瞻丰采。所以不揣冒昧，为之介绍，倘能破著作工夫，略赐教言，诚不胜其欣幸惶恐屏营之至！
