昨天见黄先生，云十日东渡，但今天听人说，又云去否未定，究竟不知如何。
《译文》由文化生活社出，恐财力不够；开明当然不肯包销，无前例也，其实还是看来未必赚钱之故，倘能赚钱，是可以破例的。夫盘古开辟天地时，何尝有开明书店，但竟毅然破例开张者，盖缘可以赚钱——或作“绍介文化”——耳。
终刊号未出，似故意迟迟，在此休息期中，有人在别处打听出版事，但亦尚无实信。
